Black River Bonsai
Nestled in the picturesque Black River watershed of northeast Ohio lies a haven for bonsai enthusiasts – Black River Bonsai. Established in 2019 by Daniel White, a seasoned horticulturist with over 25 years of experience and a passion for bonsai, our nursery boasts a charming and affordable collection of bonsai and pre-bonsai stock.
What sets us apart from the competition is our unwavering commitment to quality and excellence. We take great pride in providing our customers with only the finest, acclimated and hardy trees that are perfectly suited to Ohio (zone 6a) and the region.
As an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician (Grower), Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the art of bonsai. He has been studying bonsai since 2017 and has since devoted himself to perfecting his craft. With his keen eye for detail and passion for horticulture, Daniel works tirelessly to ensure that every tree that leaves our nursery is nothing short of exceptional.

Kernels by Chrissie was started in August, 2011, when my entrepreneurially-minded husband came home and told me he’d bought me a present. I envisioned flowers, tickets to a show or a weekend getaway, so when he told me he’d bought me a kettle for making kettle corn, I thought he must be joking. He wasn’t.
We believe in going that extra mile literally (with our mobile units) and figuratively (by hand-crafting our flavors in small batches with the finest ingredients available) for our customers!
